People who are interested in scientific evidence should be willing to admit when they are wrong, when a mistake is made. Period. Science is not dogma. Evidence matters, and when the preponderance of evidence claims something, the reasonable thing to do is to accept what the preponderance of evidence shows. That doesn't mean take it as gospel truth. Scienitific knowledge is about advancing our knowledge; outdated ideas and disproven theories are laid aside for those ideas that have the weight of evidence behind them.
I am not a vaccine enthusiast. I am, however, enthusiastic about scientific evidence. Vaccines save lives, prevent disability and are a formidable weapon in our arsenal against disease. For you to deny the preponderance of scientific evidence showing that to be true demonstrates an unwillingness to follow the science wherever it leads.
