AoA Never Met a Conspiracy Theorist It didn't Like

Well, is one man to blame for the H1N1 panic? That's the question AoA asks: "Is One Man to Blame for the WorldWide H1N1 Panic?" Now, they're just asking the question and then providing a couple paragraphs of an article at another website; they haven't actually taken the time to look at this at all. Not that that would matter since fact-checking is low on their priorities.

Off we go to this article at Market Oracle by a fellow named Engdahl, who thinks that Osterhaus is: "the connecting person in an international network that has been described as the Pharma Mafia, he is THE key advisor to WHO on influenza and is intimately positioned to personally profit from the billions of euros in vaccines allegedly aimed at H1N1." Good lord. Conspiracy theorist anyone? The guy is a little wacky. He thinks that the world is cooling, that oil is not actually running out, and that these two things are conspiracies by those who want to remain in power. Sigh.

Thanks, AoA, for continuing to shine a light on how anti-science and anti-reality you are. Good call on this article. Better make the dude an editor!

Thanks to Josh DeWald for a heads up and this link, which clealy shows that despite any investigation underway, the Netherland government refuses to sever ties with Albert Osterhaus.
